To our loyal skiers, neighbors, and friends:
As everyone looking out their window already knows, it’s been a weird winter. Snow came late, and is now leaving early. We’ve made the best of it. It started out with a bang up with a terrific Thanksgiving Camp and beautiful snow up at Lily Lake. Our amazing volunteers shoveled snow onto the trails to make sure our early season conditions held through a dry December and January, even keeping the Bench in good enough shape to hold the Junior National Qualifying race here. The Alley Loop came just on the heels of winter and was another fun, festive event. Even the Super Tour, despite one weekend of heavy snowfall and one weekend of ice, was a success. But, the fun is coming to an end quite rapidly. Due to the deteriorating snow conditions, Sunday will be our last day this year. As of Monday, the Nordic Center will be closed for the season. We’ll be in and out of the place buttoning everything up for summer, but if you need to reach us, email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
Thanks for another great season! Enjoy the sunshine!
