An American Birkebeiner qualifying race, Colorado Cup Series Race AND Crested Butte’s largest costume party, the Alley Loop features a unique course that winds its way through the streets and alleys of downtown CB! The course meanders through snow-lined alleys, behind false-fronted stores and restaurants, over footbridges and alongside residences before heading out to the pristine outskirts of Crested Butte. Great prizes and loads of fun for all ages and abilities!

RACE INFO

TIME:
1.5km & 3km start @ 9:30 am.
42K, 21km, 10km, 5km, interval starts begin @ 10:00 am, on Elk Avenue.

ALL RACERS MUST ARRIVE AT THE STARTING LINE ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THEIR RACE START FOR CHIP ASSIGNMENT!

FEE: Varies with race.

REGISTRATION: ON-LINE registration.



LATE REGISTRATION: ONE DAY ONLY, at the official Alley Loop Registration Center (Crested Butte Visitor’s Center) on Friday, February 5th from 3-7 pm. In-person registration costs more! (Save money and register ON-LINE).

BIB PICK-UP: For ON-LINE registrants, Friday, February 5th from 3-7 pm. and on Saturday morning from 7-9 am. at the official Alley Loop Registration Center (Crested Butte Visitor’s Center)

*There will be NO registration at the Nordic Center. NO bibs distributed at race.

ADDITIONAL EVENTS:
The New Belgium Brewing’s“Taste of the Alley” Beer Garden from
12 – 4 pm, at the  Brick Oven Deck

Awards Ceremony: 4 pm at MAXWELLS across the street from the START/FINISH

Elk Avenue: from Old Kebler to Thrid.
First Street: West side between Elk and Whiterock.
Fourth Street: West side between Elk Alley and Whiterock.
First Street: East side between Elk & Maroon.
Maroon Ave.: North side from the bridge East to entrance of Totem Pole Park.
Fourth Street: West side between Maroon & Gothic.
Fourth Street: East side between Gothic & Butte.
Fifth Street: West side adjacent to Butte.
Butte Ave.: North side from Fifth to Kapushion Annex.

Alleys Closed:
Sopris/Whiterock Alley: between First and Fourth.
