The Crested Butte Nordic Center’s Citizens’ Races are an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to experience a timed racing event in a relaxed atmosphere.

January 9: 20k Classic – Register at Nordic Center before 9:30am race starts at 10am. Location TBA
January 16: 20k Freestyle ( skate or classic) & Awards – Race starts at the Yurt 10am. Register at the Nordic Center before 9am
Program Information:
The Citizens Race Series is competitive and fun for all ages and abilities. Races are held at scenic locations within our groomed trail network. Beginning with 10km lengths in early December, race distances increase 20km leading up to the Alley Loop in early February. Point totals are recorded in order to crown champions at the end of the season. Please join us for these great training and social races!
Cost: $12.00 Adults / $10.00 Members / $5 Children under 17
Participants must register at the CBNC on race day.
Race venues are subject to weather and conditions. Venues will be posted at the Nordic Center the week of each race.
