Thanks for the great season everyone! Everything is pretty much buttoned up, but you can still ski out to the Magic Meadows from the Gronk, and out Mike’s Mile to the first river crossing/turn around. Thank you for all your support and patience!

UPDATE: The Mike’s Mile bridges are being pulled today! Mike’s Mile is now closed! Enjoy the Meadows while you can.

East Side: Closed for the Season.

The Bench: groomed Monday night; will not be groomed again this season

West Side: the trail from the Gronk to Mike’s Mile was groomed last night. All the trails South of the Gronk are closed, as is the Beaver Trail. The bridges on these trails have either been removed or flooded.

Due to all this warm weather, Sunday will be our last day. Thanks for another great season and for supporting CB Nordic!

Closing Early: Sunday’s the last day

To our loyal skiers, neighbors, and friends:

As everyone looking out their window already knows, it’s been a weird winter. Snow came late, and is now leaving early. We’ve made the best of it. It started out with a bang up with a terrific Thanksgiving Camp and beautiful snow up at Lily Lake. Our amazing volunteers shoveled snow onto the trails to make sure our early season conditions held through a dry December and January, even keeping the Bench in good enough shape to hold the Junior National Qualifying race here. The Alley Loop came just on the heels of winter and was another fun, festive event. Even the Super Tour, despite one weekend of heavy snowfall and one weekend of ice, was a success. But, the fun is coming to an end quite rapidly. Due to the deteriorating snow conditions, Sunday will be our last day this year. As of Monday, the Nordic Center will be closed for the season. We’ll be in and out of the place buttoning everything up for summer, but if you need to reach us, email director@cbnordic.org or laura@cbnordic.org.

East Side: Closed for the Season.

The Bench: groomed Monday night; will not be groomed again this season

West Side: groomed last night. All the trails South of the Gronk are closed, as is the Beaver Trail. The bridges on these trails have either been removed or flooded. The Magic Meadows and Mike’s Mile are still skiing well, but Pooches Paradise is showing signs of the weather.

Good morning! At 8 a.m. it’s 23 degrees Fahrenheit with sunny skies here at the Center. Today’s grooming report is as follows:

East Side: Closed for the Season.

The Bench: groomed Monday night; getting there is marginal but once you’re up there the trails are good

West Side: groomed last night and is holding up well for both classic and skate skiing. The trail from the Kapushion to the Gronk is closed, and the upper sections of the Red Lady trails are closed. The Beaver Trail is now closed as is the Bridge from the South end of Pooches Paradise–the bridge just to the South of the Gronk has been removed so the trail is no longer passable.

Good morning! At 8 a.m. it’s 32 degrees Fahrenheit with partly sunny skies here at the Center. Today’s grooming report is as follows:

East Side: Was groomed Friday night; This was the last time this season we groomed the East side. Tony’s Trail, Middle Earth, the east side of Rudy’s Rollers are now closed, and the Riverbend trails are not groomed past the Riverbend road. Please be careful skiing over there! With this unseasonably warm weather, the trails are starting to erode so several are in marginal condition.
