22nd Annual Alley Loop
Nordic Marathon
An American Birkebeiner qualifying race and Crested Butte's largest costume party, the Alley Loop features a unique course that starts and ends on a packed and groomed Elk Avenue! The course meanders through snow-lined alleys, behind false-fronted stores and restaurants, over footbridges and alongside residences before heading out to the pristine outskirts of Crested Butte. Great prizes and loads of fun for all ages and abilities!
When: February 2nd, 2008
Time: 1.5km and 3km start at 9:30am
42K, 21km, 10km, 5km, interval starts begin at 10:00 am.

Bring your used Nordic and Telemark equipment for consignment and shop among hundreds of great new and used bargains! Snowshoes, clothing, and accessories on sale too! Proceeds to benefit the Crested Butte Nordic Council.

The Crested Butte Nordic Center's Citizens' Races are an opportunity for locals and visitors alike to experience a timed racing event in a relaxed atmosphere.

15K Skiathalon: The Skiathalon combines classic skiing and skate skiing to determine the best all-around skier. Or team up with a friend to ski as a relay!

Moonlight Ski and Snowshoe Tour
Join us for a ski or snowshoe tour under the full moon each month. Experience the beauty of Crested Butte’s surrounding valleys. Tour includes hot drinks and snacks inside a warm authentic Tipi.
