There’s no better way to get your skis ready for winter than to have them hot boxed by the CBNC. The hot box is like a sauna for your skis, saturating the bases with wax over time. It’s a two stage process that starts with a warm wax that gets baked in for 6 hours, then scraped and brushed. A second layer of wax is applied, baked for an additional 4 hours, then scraped, brushed, and ready for skiing!

Customers and staff alike rave about what a difference the hot box treatment makes. “It’s like having your skis manually waxed twenty times,” says Professional Ski Instructor and Manager Toni Westerholm.  The wax lasts longer, and the skis are faster.  Doing this early season can repair laziness from last spring, and set you up for success this season.

To help motivate you to take care of your gear, we’re offering an early bird special through December 14. Regularly priced at $50 per Nordic pair, bring your skis in now and have them hot boxed for only $40 per Nordic pair.  We can also hot box Alpine skis for $55 per pair.  That’s $10 off the regular season prices!

To get the season going, we’ll be doing three batches a week.  Drop off for skis is by noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  Pick up is on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday after noon.
