Friday, November 27th
Free pre-clinic waxing assistance: 8:00am.
Beginning Classic: A starter clinic for people looking to learn the basics of classic style Nordic skiing. 9:00-11:00am. Instructor: Janelle Smiley
Intermediate Classic: A clinic for people with a strong base in classic skiing looking to improve their technique and take their skiing to the next level. Includes video analysis. 9:00-11:00am. Instructor: Ross Matlock.
Fit for the Skieason: A super fun and informative time on skis featuring an intro into strength, stretching, balances and drills that can take your nordic a step further. Starts with an indoor tutorial for about 20-30 min. followed by 90 min. on snow. Come prepared with questions and be ready to have a good time.

Grey Hares Group Refresher: Join the 50+ recreational group for a fun-filled morning of camaraderie and Nordic ski instruction. 9:00am-11:00am. Instructor: Eliane Wissocq.
Beginning Skate: An introductory clinic covering the basics of skate skiing including balance, posture, and poling techniques. Includes video analysis. 9:00am-11:00am. Instructor: Ross Matlock.
Advanced Skate: Fine tune your V1, V2 and V2 alternate technique and increase hill performance with an expert instructor. 9:00am-11:00am. Instructors: Ingrid & Kendall Butts.

Backcountry Avalanche Awareness Class: An absolute must for skiers traveling off the groomed track! Participants will receive essential information to ensure good avalanche and safe backcountry travel awareness.

Nordic Gourmet Dinner and Silent Auction Fundraiser:
Our Gourmet Dinner and Silent Auction THIS Saturday evening benefits the Crested Butte Nordic Center, and caps off our Thanksgiving Training Camp. Join local Nordic supporters, community members and camp participants for a scrumptious pasta dinner and to bid on exciting auction items, such as skis, backpacks, 10th Mountain Division and Summit hut trips, spa and hot springs lodging packages, Persian rugs, private lessons with camp clinicians, bike gear, ski gear, local lunch and dinner deals and more! Tickets are $10 and include dinner, dessert and the auction. Music, and a Nordic slide show will round out the festivities. Tickets are available at the Nordic Center in advance or at the event Saturday night, 6:00 pm, at the Queen of all Saints Parish Hall, 401 Sopris in Crested Butte.
