COLORADO'S BEST CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING

The Crested Butte Nordic Center is a full-service cross-country ski center providing professional lessons and complete rental packages for skate and classical skiing, as well as ice skating, snowshoeing, and sledding. The Nordic Center maintains more than 50 kilometers of groomed trails via three trailheads, around the scenic outskirts of Crested Butte a quaint Victorian mining town and National Historic District. Our trails, groomed for both classic and skate skiing, can accommodate all ability levels - novice to advanced. Read more.

The Crested Butte Nordic Center is located at the corner of 2nd at Whiterock Avenue, on the bus route in Crested Butte, and is open every day from 8:30-5:00. The Trail system is no longer groomed, but the crust skiing is still good so get out early and enjoy the glide!

GRIN & BEAR IT FUN RUN. July 26, 2008. Sponsored by CBNC and CB Mountain Runners, this annual Green Lake nine-mile run starts (9am) and finishes here at the Nordic Center with a small BBQ. Free for members, $5 for non-members. Visit: www.cbmountainrunners.org for their summer schedule.
