AugustThe Least Skiable of All Months
Except for maybe September, but once those leaves turn yellow we’re pretty much there. And season pass sales go online September 1, so there’s plenty of daydreaming about skiing and snow at least. While it may be the least snowy time of year, we’ve still got some updates and calls for help to share with the community. It won’t be long before we see most of you out on the snow again, so thanks for turning on, tuning in, and scrolling down.

Thursday, September 17 at 5 p.m.

In just one short month, it will be time for our annual gathering of good food, good times, and good people in anticipation of winter. We hope you’ll join us at the Nordic Center on Thursday, September 17 at 5 p.m. Come catch up with your winter community, share good food, and peruse our pre-season sale. We will have past-season merchandise on sale, including CB Nordic-branded items, Swix, Lill-Sport, Maloja, Skida, and Dynafit. Bring your favorite dish to share, a chair, and your own plate + utensils. We’ll see you there!

Season Passes & Yurt Dinners
Get unlimited skiing for the whole family with a 2026-2027 season pass. Take advantage of early-bird pricing ($250) when season passes go on sale Tuesday, September 1. Prices increase to $300 on November 1st. Yurt Dinners at the Magic Meadows Yurt go on sale the same day as well. Dates have been released, so you can start to plan by visiting our site.
In addition to access to all 55 km of groomed trails, each season pass purchase comes with benefits, including five free rentals, $35 off Magic Meadows Yurt Dinners, 30% off lessons and tours, and a 10% discount on Alley Loop, Gothic Mountain Tour, and Grin & Bear It registrations. If you want your season pass discount on Yurt Dinners, you must make the pass purchase first and use your discount code included in your confirmation email when you book your dinners. The same goes for all other season pass perks. You must use them at the time of registration. They may not be applied retroactively as a refund. We want to make sure skiing remains an accessible outlet for the Gunnison Valley. Other ski passes in the valley have increased nearly 30% in cost since 22/23, but we haven’t increased our pass price at all in that time. See you on the snow soon!
