It’s all happening.

While the high alpine flowers are still going strong, the fireweed in the valley is out in full force! Rumor has it, when the fireweed blossoms reach the top of the stalk, snow is just six weeks away.

We’re not quite at the top of the stalk yet, but over here at CB Nordic, we’ve got the whole winter mapped out. So, if you’re like us and already doing your snow dances, keep on reading.

We’ve got Yurt Dinner reservations opening on Friday, winter program guides ready for your perusal, season pass sales opening September 1st, and program registration shortly after on September 9th. Gliding season will be here before we know it!

Yurt Dinners

Reservations Open August 1st!

Friday is the day! Yurt Dinners reservations open for the 2025-2026 season. There are 26 dinners on the calendar from December through March. One dinner a month will feature live music (dates are noted on the webpage). Some dinners fill up quickly, especially around the holidays. If a dinner fills up, email amanda@cbnordic.org to be added to the waitlist.

If you’re looking for something different, the yurt is available for private rentals throughout the winter. Learn more here.

Join our event team! We’re looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented event coordinator. This part-time, seasonal position plays a critical role in the successful execution of our unique race events, including the Alley Loop, Grand Traverse, and Gothic Mountain Tour.

Join our coaching team! We’re hiring junior coaches for our 2025-2026 winter season. From FUN’damentals in elementary school through Devo, Race Prep, Comp Team, and non-competitive middle and high school options, we’ve got exciting opportunities.
